The Pine Creek Watershed has an area of about 311 square miles. The Creek begins near Carberry at an elevation of about 1275 feet and flows north east to the Whitemud about 5 miles southeast of Woodside. The total drop is about 425 feet over about 36 miles.

Other significant waterways include Gillespie Drain, Fourth Base Drain and Campbell Drain.

This subdistrict includes portions of the municipalities of Westlake-Gladstone, North Norfolk and North Cypress – Langford.

The subdistrict’s annual maintenance budget is about $85,000.
